Itinerary
Early morning departure from Islamabad by air-conditioned 4x4 vehicles. Drive north along the Karakoram Highway, one of the great engineering wonders of the world. Lunch at Besham. Continue to Chilas where the Indus River roars through ancient rock carvings. Evening at rest house.
